Tutor, Sam Quy, holds MA Dance, (distinction) Diploma Arte Flamenco Especialisacion (sobresaliente) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

Her teaching awards include: Ascend Tutor of Excellence, HAFLS Excellence in Teaching and Grade 1 "Outstanding" observations from five UK Boroughs.

Particularly interested in the impact of dance on physical and mental health, Sam’s recent CPD in Rebuild: Covid and Long Covid Awareness for Group Exercise, Dance for Stroke, Dance for Parkinson’s and Exercise Prescription all inform her pedagogy.

For nearly 20 years, Sam has delivered dance classes and choreographies internationally to a range of clients including community and celebrity. She has seen flamenco engage participants cognitively, emotionally, physically and socially. Her projects have broken down barriers and bonded people of different age, ability, class, and culture while individually aiding posture, mobility, balance, mental health and physical difficulties.

Sam shares flamenco as an adaptable and inclusive dance for all to enjoy and looks forward to welcoming you to class.
